The operator is only one part of the entrance.

A reliable automatic door starts with the door itself: frame, pivots or hinges, clearances, traffic, activation, safety devices, locking, access control, power and the building around it.

Plan the complete entrance.

Adding automation to a binding, poorly aligned or unsuitable door does not solve the underlying opening. For new and retrofit projects, ARTMETA reviews how the door moves, who uses it, how it locks, where power and controls come from, and how the system will be inspected and serviced later.

Door & frame condition

Check alignment, pivots or hinges, door balance, frame condition and available mounting space before selecting an operator.

Traffic & accessibility

Define who uses the entrance, traffic frequency, required clear opening and the accessibility objective.

Activation & safety

Coordinate push plates, touchless activation, sensors, safety devices and the intended operating sequence.

Hardware & locking

Door hardware, electric locking, egress and access-control logic need to work with the operator—not against it.

Power & controls

Confirm electrical rough-in, control locations, low-voltage pathways and interfaces with security or building systems.

Commissioning & service

Plan for final setup, safety verification, documentation and future service access before the entrance is closed in.
