Since 1935, Hörmann, headquartered in Steinhagen, Germany, has been passionate about technology and quality. In 1952, after purchasing the rights from American, Glenn Berry, to produce a new type of up-and-over garage door, Hörmann launched the first up-and-over garage doors on the market, laying the foundation for Hörmann as it exists today.
Hörmann’s next trend-setting development after the up-and-over garage door, was space-saving, commercial overhead sectional roll-up doors. In 1976, a new factory was founded in Brockhagen, Germany, which kicked off the industrial production of commercial overhead sectional doors at Hörmann.
Today, Hörmann North America carries on the commercial overhead sectional door tradition started in Germany decades ago. Whether plans call for pan or sandwich door designs, we have a model to match the specifications. Leading the industry with unmatched density and strength, all Hörmann urethane models have our environmentally friendly, 100 percent CFC-free, proprietary polyurethane (PU) blend foam core insulation. The 450U offers our highest level of insulation, followed by the more cost effective 440U, and the 425U, which in addition to outstanding insulation performance, includes Hörmann’s exclusive FingerGuard™ pinch resistant section joints.

Commercial Insulated Sandwich Doors
Engineered for strength, efficiency, and protection against the elements
Our 450U, 440U and 425U models are insulated with our proprietary polyurethane blend for maximum insulation and rigidity. The 354S, 350S, and 340S models are insulated with a polystyrene core and come in a variety of gauge options. Both the 325S and 324S models are also insulated with polystyrene and are equipped with our FingerGuard™ pinch-resistant section joints to promote safety and reduce risk of injury.

2" thick doors with optional insulation, multiple gauges, and safety features
We offer 2" thick commercial pan overhead doors in a variety of gauges and safety options. Our 255P, 254P, and 250P offer optional insulation and are available in 25 ga., 24 ga. and 20 ga. options. Our 225P and 224P models are equipped with our FingerGuard™ pinch-resistant section joints to promote safety and reduce risk of injury and come in 25 ga. or 24 ga. steel options.

Steel Ranger™ 9500 LS
High-Performance Low Speed Rolling Steel Door
The springless, direct-drive Steel Ranger™ 9500 LS is an effective replacement for outdated rolling steel doors on door openings with no need for high speed, but with high-cycles daily. This door allows a cost-effective way to match the aesthetic of it's high-speed counterparts. Activation is with a constant contact push button, and opening speed is 8 inches per second.

Ideal for use in coolers, wash down, and food production environments, the HPP is constructed of all stainless steel hardware and a PE 500 polyethylene panel material that’s impervious to moisture, resistant to acids and alkalis, and hygienic. It’s also USDA / FDA / EU compliant and has a 10-year warranty. In addition, the hinge and door panel are preassembled, so installation time is minimized. Best of all, guesswork is eliminated since installation profiles are included to match the type of wall construction where the door will be installed.
