ENTRANCE & ACCESS · VANCOUVER

Garage doors, resolved as a complete opening.

ARTMETA supports residential and commercial garage door projects across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland—coordinating the door, track, spring system, operator, clearances, finish and installation conditions rather than treating each component in isolation.

Choose the right route.

Residential

Insulated steel, contemporary, carriage-style and architectural garage doors for renovations and new homes.

Commercial

Sectional and high-performance door applications reviewed around traffic, durability, controls and service access.

What determines the right system?

Opening geometry

Width, height, side room, headroom and backroom determine what track and spring configurations are feasible.

Door + operator

The opener must be compatible with the door weight, track geometry, ceiling conditions, usage and required safety devices.

Architecture + performance

Panel style, glazing, colour, insulation, weather exposure and adjacent materials are reviewed as one elevation.

Common questions.

Can you work with low headroom?

Often, yes. The available headroom and backroom need to be measured first because low-headroom track, spring and opener options have different space requirements.

Do you review the opener too?

Yes. ARTMETA reviews operator compatibility together with the door and tracks, including ceiling-mounted and selected wall-mounted configurations where the site allows.

Can you review a replacement project from photos?

Photos and rough dimensions are a useful first step. Final ordering still depends on verified field measurements and the required installation scope.

When does a rolling garage door make sense?

A rolling format can be worth reviewing when the project benefits from keeping the main ceiling area clear or when renovation geometry makes a conventional sectional-door layout less attractive. The roll, brackets, operator, headroom and side clearances still need to be measured for the specific opening.

Start with the opening, the space and the target date.

Send drawings, photos, rough dimensions, project location and timing. ARTMETA will identify the next practical step before final product selection or quotation.

Product availability, code requirements, engineering, installation scope and final compliance are confirmed for the specific project and written quotation.

Measure before you select.

Use the rough-opening guide to capture width, height, side room, headroom, backroom and ceiling conditions before comparing door and opener options.

Choose the opener after the track strategy.

Compare wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted openers only after headroom, side room, backroom and spring geometry are known.
